I am currently studying Fine Art in my final year at Manchester Metropolitan University.  Studying for my degree has allowed me to develop my practice and I am now much more focused on digital based design.  I am very interested in the idea of consumerism through media based icons and the surrounding factors which it concerns. I like to take a digital approach to my work in which I concentrate on brands, logos and icons creating designs with programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.  I also experiment with video and film from projections of my designs. I am really interested in the idea of the repeated images, creating symmetrical graphic designs with which I am able to represent a literal metaphor for consumerism in today’s world.
